Power Biker Rock.

This time, swinging back to the U.S. To a band named "Circus of Power". They were established by "Crucial Truth's" Alex Mitchel. Forming Circus of Power, was the turning point for Alex. After being part of Crucial Truth, and "Saint Mary's Children of Salvation", he wanted to take another approach o the music industry. Circus of Power was that answer.

Producing 3 albums, dubbed "Circus of Power" (Self titled), "Vices" and "Magic & Madness", they were accepted well within the early 90's. Carrying the sound of something along the lines of 'Southern Metal', they were self proclaimed as 'Biker Rock'. This can be noticed among the catchy tracks.

The band was going strong until misfortune hit. The band separated soon after the third album, and was separate since. Afterward, Alex was part of/formed the bands "Fat Nancy", "Plastic Gator Machine", "Second Ring of Power" (questionable source) and "Uncle Max's Cosmic Band". He even had an E.P., dubbed "Showbiz Al", which was available only at Plastic Gator Tour shows.

The post projects were mostly Southern Rock, but were quite partial to Alex's voice. They meshed rather well. Even though the post projects were more Independent. So obtaining these albums may prove to be difficult.

Well, check them out: Circus of Power

Their site: CircusofPower.net

As of 2008, Alex put together a Circus of Power Tribute album, composed of many Independent bands. Whom catch the sentiment of the original track's essence. And as well, as of this year, Alex will be re-issuing the Circus of Power debut album. With a 4000 essay about the band.

I'd say that after 2008, things are looking up for Alex and Circus of Power. A reunion is possible. Especially with several small circuit tours.

Till next time.

Cheers.
